MEET THE BEAGLES
Harvey
AVAILABLE
Harvey is the sweetest little Beagle who was rescued by New Beginnings in September 2023. Unfortunately, the man who owned Harvey did not want him anymore; but rather than selling him to dealership - he wanted to hand Harvey over to a rescue.
The living conditions Harvey was living in were extremely poor, and we transported him quickly to our closest vet to check for any infectious diseases or illness. Here, our vet estimated him to be approximately 2 years old.
Harvey has been doing great at our shelter, and enjoys playing with our three larger mixed breeds - James, Sirius and Raven. He seems to really enjoy the company of other dogs, so a home where he can benefit from another canine companion is highly desirable!

Bandit
AVAILABLE
Bandit (along with Etta) are two of our newest rescues which were saved from slaughter in late December 2023. We were sent footage of Bandit and Etta in a metal cage, where they were visibly very distressed - and we just couldn't turn them away.
After sending a member of our team to collect these two dogs, they were immediately taken to the veterinary clinic where they were tested for all infectious diseases. Thankfully, this all came back negative; so we booked them in for their spay and neuter before placing them in quarantine for a couple of weeks.
Bandit is an older dog, approximately 8 years old and really does have a sweet nature. He gets on well with the shelter dogs, but will need a calm household with no children, where he can live out his golden years.

Etta
AVAILABLE
Like Bandit, Etta was rescued in late December and is in fact our newest rescues! This sweet girl was rescued from slaughter, and was confined to a cage where she was visibly very distressed. Their environment was extremely dirty, and they needed to get out as soon as possible.
After sending a member of our team to collect Etta and Bandit, they were immediately taken to the veterinary clinic where they were tested for all infectious diseases. Thankfully, this all came back negative; so we booked them in for their spay and neuter before placing them in quarantine for a couple of weeks.
Etta is a very young girl, with the clinic estimating that she is only a year old (if that). She is extremely sweet, and would love a home where she can play with another resident dog at a similar age!
